Dr. Kevin Harris BSc, DVM
Dr. Harris obtained his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Manitoba. He then went on to become a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, graduating from the University of Saskatchewan. After working at clinics around British Columbia, he opened Trenant Park Pet Clinic in 1990. Dr. Harris belongs to "Skinny", a Staffordshire Terrier mix who he rescued from Louisiana after volunteering for Hurricane Katrina relief efforts, a troublesome Pug, "Mr. Funny Man", and "Hilary" and "Obama" the cats. |
Dr. Nadia Yechouron BSc, DVM
Dr. Yechouron received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology from McGill University. She then graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Université de Montréal. Dr. Yechouron has been a part of the Trenant Park team since 1997. Dr. Yechouron has three children and one very spoiled Yellow Lab, "Penny" (pictured) |
Dr. Anita Yee, DVM
Dr. Yee received a Bachelor of Agroecology from UBC and graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Yee grew up in BC but had been practicing emergency medicine in Michigan. She returned to BC in 2016 and joined the TPPC team. She has a special interest in dog behavior and training. In her spare time Dr. Yee enjoys doing agility and disc dog competitions with her dogs "Nimble", a Border Collie and "Flint", a Spaniel mix and "Nana" a Maremma Sheepdog, and spending time with her husband on her growing hobby farm. |
Dr. Jessie Hare, DVM
Dr. Hare obtained her Honors Bachelor of Science Degree in Zoology from the University of Western Ontario. She then went on to obtain her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Ontario Veterinary College. She has been practicing in British Columbia since 1998 and recently joined us at TPPC. In her spare time she can be found on the North Shore, either trail running, hiking or snowshoeing. |

Registered Veterinary Technologists
Veterinary Technologists (or "Vet Techs") provide front-line care for veterinary patients under the supervision of veterinarians. They have achieved a two year diploma in Veterinary Technology. After completing this program, they write the Veterinary Technician National Examination in order to become a Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT). In order to keep this title, RVTs must complete a certain amount of continuing education every year. All of the Vet Techs at TPPC hold the 'RVT' title. Vet Techs assume many of the technical duties and care of patients including, but not limited to:
•Assisting veterinarians during procedures
•Phlebotomy and intravenous catheter placement
•Performing diagnostic tests such as radiographs, urinalysis, fecal exams and blood tests
•Conducting dental cleanings, dental radiographs and charting
•Preparing animals for surgery, inducing anesthesia, monitoring surgical patients and post-anesthetic recovery
•Providing nursing care for hospitalized patients and documenting medical charts
•Dispensing prescription medications under the direction of a veterinarian
•Educating pet owners on many aspects of animal care and welfare
•Assisting veterinarians during procedures

Andrea, RVT
Andrea joined TPPC in 2014. She graduated from Thompson Rivers University as a Registered Veterinary Technologist after 10 years of experience in the veterinary field. Andrea has a special interest in anesthesia. She has a Staffordshire/Aussie Shepherd mix named "MacGruber". In her spare time, Andrea enjoys hiking with her husband and MacGruber, watching movies and spending time with her family. |
Denise, RVT
Denise joined Trenant Park in November of 2013. After graduating from Thompson Rivers University, she worked in hospitals in Edmonton and Vancouver before going in search of something else in Melbourne, Australia. After five years in various small clinics in Australia and a large specialty surgery practice she returned home. She has a fat blond pony who lives in the Interior with her sister where he has space to roam and be a horse, as well as 2 Longhair Dachshunds named "Missy" and "Breezy". |
Jessica, RVT
Jessica joined the TPPC team as a kennel assistant in 2014. After graduating from Douglas College's Veterinary Technology program, Jessica joined the technician team. Jessica has a special interest in laboratory diagnostics as well as wildlife. She has volunteered her time at the Orphaned Wildlife Rehabilitation Society (OWL) in Ladner. Jessica has a dog and a cat. "Winston", an English Bulldog, and "Legolas" a 3 legged Domestic Short Hair that she adopted from the Delta Community Animal Shelter. |
Melissa, RVT
Melissa joined the TPPC team in May of 2017. Melissa graduated from Douglas College with a diploma in Veterinary Technology and brings over 10 years of experience in the veterinary industry. She enjoys anesthesia, dentistry and providing a high level of nursing care to all of our patients. When she is not at work Melissa enjoys hiking and spending time with her pets. Melissa has 2 Muscovy ducks "Delilah" and "Cadbury", 2 Indian Runner ducks "Howard" (pictured) and "Harriette", a yellow Lab named "Buster" and her cat "Elaine". Melissa is currently on maternity leave until Dec 2020! |

Kim: Veterinary Assistant & Receptionist
Kim graduated from the Veterinary Assistant Program at Vancouver Career College and joined us in 2008. Kim often assists the Doctors and Technicians in the exam room and in surgical preparation and works in Reception.
Kim shares her home with 1 dog and 3 cats. "Mui" is a "Mexican Mutt" who was rescued from Mexico through TPPC. "Leonard", a former TPPC clinic cat who she fell in love with. "Elvira" & "Roseanne" are two DSH sisters also adopted from TPPC in 2009. Kim is convinced they share 1 brain!
Outside of work, Kim enjoys spending time with her animals, painting, drawing, and yoga.

Sarah: Veterinary Assistant & Reception
Sarah joined the TPPC team in November of 2017. She is a graduate of the Veterinary Technician Assistant program at Granville college. She has a Miniature Australian Shepherd named Frankie and a cat named Nora. Outside of work Sarah enjoys hiking, drawing, reading and yoga.

Heather: Receptionist
Heather joined the team in 2017. She brings with her over 20 years of experience in veterinary clinics throughout the Lower Mainland. Heather enjoys hiking, fishing, and traveling.

Hannah: Receptionist/ Vet Asssitant
Hannah has been working at Trenant Park since the beginning of 2019. She started here as a part-time kennel attendant and recently stepped up as one of our full-time receptionists. Hannah has two cats Fern and Poppy and 4 rabbits. She has volunteered at Grey Haven, an exotic bird sanctuary and has fostered many rabbits for the Vancouver Rabbit Rescue. Hannah is also very artistic, come check out her window paintings in our reception area!

Natalie: Reception/Vet Assistant
Meet Natalie! You may see Natalie assisting the Doctor with your beloved pets or hear her voice on the other end of the phone. Natalie graduated from the Veterinary Assistant Course at Granville College early 2020 and has been working at Trenant Park ever since! When she gets some time off, she enjoys traveling and learning new cultures. She has a dog named Chase and spends most of her time running around with him! |
